The crowd are on the pitch

As dawn breaks in the Ukraine Euro 2012 is over. Spain dealt Italy a football lesson and I like so many predicted the result long before the first kick was taken almost a month ago. Spain are the best at the moment, this was just proof. Italy can hold their heads high knowing they had silenced many critics including me this tournament. Although thereis only one winner, the real winner as always is football. The game has been played hard and well and most of all we only had two penalty shoot outs, in which both my teams lost. As football fans we now turn our attention to up coming domestic seasons and the world cup qualifying campaigns, and not dragging myself out of bed at 4:30 every morning. Sleep here I come.
